Hi. I have been watching the cost of our tickets (which we already bought) for any price drops. They are down by $5 this morning and there are 7 of us. Does anyone know if they issue one lump sum credit of 35.00 or if it is seven credits in each persons name for $5.:confused3 Thanks!

They do not issue credits, the sale was after you purchased and that was most likely some kind of sale fare also. I was in your shoes last month and thats what they told me they do not give any money or credit when there is a price drop.

I was able to get a credit on a segment of my flights when the price dropped. It went from $99 to $69. The thing was though in order to do this you had to call. When you call them they charge you a $5/ticket fee for the transaction. I have 5 tickets so the $150 credit was reduced to $125. And in order to redeme the credit I will have to call back and get charged another $5. When redeming the credit I am only going to try to buy one ticket with it so maybe I will only get charged another $5 once. Not sure if I can do that though (like you said I don't know if it goes into an account or not). Bottom line would be only to get a credit for the flight if your savings are greater than $10.

That's kind of what I figured! Your savings was worth working for though! I'll keep watching!:goodvibes

I've been able to use the credit on-line when booking (it automatically shows up in your reward account); didn't get charged an additional fee.

btw, if you are rewards; go thru that phone #/dept. - if you ask nicely, they will sometimes refund the charge.:thumbsup2

I've also used my credit to book online. When you get to the payment page it tells you that you have $$ credit and do you want to use it at this time. I do and then pay the remainder, if any, by credit card.

With the price only going down $5 pp it would be a wash by the time you pay the $5 pp phone fee. I'd wait and see it went down further before requesting a credit.
