AirTran DOES give credits again

I read in a thread here that Airtran was once again giving credits when fares decreased from the original booking fare. Today I noticed that the fare had decreased for our April trip to MCO. I called Airtran and got the credit, no problem. No fee charged, either.

I love Airtran, even with their frequent time changes for their flights!

They do not give refunds just credits to use on future flights.

Yes, it was a credit to my Airtran account, not a refund to my credit card.

Called again today for another flight that decreased in cost and got another credit! I've actualy spent the credits to upgrade us to exit row seat assignments on several flights.

You have to call, they don't want to make it too easy.

I think you can, but I don't think it can be done online, has to be done over the phone.
