Our flight departure time has been pushed back. Has anyone ever been allowed to change to an earlier flight if this has happened? The afternoon flight seems not as booked as our evening flight. Any experiences or comments are welcome,

I haven't done it personally, but I know others on this board have. I would call them right away before the flight you want fills up.

How big a change is it? For a substantial change the airlines are usually pretty good. For a 10 minute change... no LOL!

(And I have seen folks on this board try to use a 10 minute schedule change to get refunds, whole extra days at Disney etc LOL)

This happened to us one christmas. We wanted to stay longer in florida. I was fully expecting to pay more for the change. To my surprise I didn't have to becasue they changed our flighttime for the first segment by like 10 minutes. So they will let you change without a fee.

Thanks for all of the advice. The time change was only 25 minutes, but already a late arrival made later. They had the seats on the earlier flight available and let me make the change with no charge.

Yesterday, I found out my fav. ride Haunted Mansion would be closed during our June trip:sad1: . DH felt bad, so he told me I could change our AT flight down to a day earlier, from Sun to Sat. (something I had been clamoring for lol)

Knew that it now costs $60 plus applicable airfare difference for changes to ressies, was going to work out to $480 MORE for 3 pp! Really couldn't justify it; but called just to see what my options were...

Since the original flight times had changed 10 minutes; they made the change w/o extra cost:banana: :dance3: .

Not sure if it's because I called the Rewards Dept or I feel in a very big pile of :wizard: .
