Airtran changed flights today.... check yours!

I pulled up my ressie on the Airtran site and discovered that they had changed my flights. When I called them to get it corrected, I was told they just changed today and the notifications had not yet been sent. I had a connecting flight thru Washington/Baltimore to Indy and they were able to get me on a non-stop flight, which is the flight I originally wanted but did not want to spend the extra $$$ to get it. For once, the change was to my benefit.

I don't know how many flights they changed but there could be lots of folks trying to get new flights once the notifications are sent out. So, check your flights for any changes and beat the rush to get your preferred change!

Thanks for the heads up, Airtran is one I always watch when I book. Most changes are minor, but I don't think I've ever had a flight that didn't change with them.

PHew.....nervous there, but they didn't change it this time. They've already changed it 2 or 3 times and our arrival to Disney is getting later and later. At this point, we arrive to MCO at 8:30pm instead of the original 7pm and that's getting pretty late by the time we check in and get something to eat. Any later and I"ll be really bummed.

Our flight was on 4/9/10. Apparently they did not change the flight, they discontinued it completely, so I anticipated lots of people changing at the same time.

One thing Airtran has been good with, if they change your time a good bit, call them and see if you can change to a flight that works better for you. It might just depend on who you get, but some people are moved to more expensive flights for free because of the changes. It's always worth a shot IMO.

My problem is they only fly out of our airport 4 times/WEEK - Mon, Wed, Fri and Sunday one time a day. Our flight is Fri night so the next opportunity we'd have is Sunday. I guess after my two upcoming Airtran trips, this will be a good test as to my feelings on Airtran.

Thanks for the suggestion though. Maybe I could look into traveling to another airport if they change the times any more.
