AirTran change time ?

Hi, been waiting for my flight with AirTran to change times so I can change my flight. I just checked and the flight still leaves at the same time, but is getting in a few minutes later....

Am I able to change my flights based on this?

Sorry, but no. They have to change your departure time in order for you to change to a different flight. Your flight may be scheduled to get in a little later for a variety of reasons, such as them deciding to fly a little slower to use less fuel. That doesn't count as a schedule change, which is what you are looking for.

Departure times needs to change, I'm sure it will Airtran is known for changes.
Today I checked our flights and it is no longer listed online so I called and sure enough our flight was cancelled.
They did but a different flight in its place, so we were able to switch to that one.

They will only make a change for you, without charge, if they have changed the flight times by a minimum of 45 minutes or cancelled the flight.

I just changed my flights for my trip. The arival times changed by 4 minutes and she had no problem changing the flights from me for no cost. Call them and see. It only took a minute maybe told her the arival time changed and another flight worked better she said no problem I will send you and e-mail right now.

They changed it, with no problems.....an extra 8 hours on our trip now!!!
Seeing as Ive been planning this trip forever, you would think that I would have been smarter to book an earlier flight, I was just nervous about doing a connecting flight with a 2 year old.
We will see how it goes!

Not true. I have made flight changes with much less than 45 minute change on my originally scheduled flight with Airtran. For free, and with no hassle.

That's just what the policy is. What they do is sometimes a different thing.
