I'm looking at flights from Chicago to Orlando for December and right now they are showing decent times and good rates. I have never flown them before...

Anyone have any previous experience?
thanks,
Annette

We always fly Airtran, and have NEVER had any problems, Great rates and crew has been Great!!!! We fly out of Philly

Go for it

I have flown Airtran 3 times and will be flying them a 4th time in October. I would definitely say go for it. One piece of advice though, if you do go with Airtran get your seat assignments and print your boarding passes exactly 24 hours in advance. One time we forgot until about 12 hours in advance and our family of 5 was scattered throughout the plane.

thanks - my only concern after reading all these is the part where the 24 hours to get your boarding passes. I think for us, who won't have a computer with us, coming home may be a pain? That would be the Orlando to Chicago portion...

I have left my family at MK and rode the monorail over to CR. They have a business center where I used the computer to check in and pick my seats at exactly the 24 hour mark. I then rode the monorail back to MK and met my family again. It took maybe an hour.

The concierge at any Disney hotel will print your boarding passes and check you in for your flight.

Great airline with very professional staff. I flew them last year to WDW and was really pleased. I much prefer them to United or Northwest.

We flew them in June for our trip to Disney. We had no problems with them at all! That was our first time also, and I was a little nervous because we have flown Southwest many times and like them too. Airtran even got us a non-stop flight home when we couldn't get one(and they didn't charge us for the change)! They were great!!! I would book them again in a heartbeat!!!! :thumbsup2
