DH & I both got email, from AirTran, evidently promo directed to A+ Visa Cardholders:thumbsup2. If interested might want to check ur email account associated w/the CC or rewards.

It's for $50 off roundtrip & does have specific user discount code # and certificate # (naturally my next 2 trips are already booked:laughing:maybe a weekend getaway is in order:rolleyes1)

the details:

Thank you for being an AirTran Airways A+ Visa cardholder. Your two $50 Discount Certificates for round-trip travel on AirTran Airways are enclosed. Apply them to the purchase of AirTran Airways flights without worrying about blackout dates or eligible fare classes. Plus, we’ve made the Discount Certificates valid for an entire year to give you plenty of time to plan and book your next trip.

To redeem the Discount Certificates online, follow these simple instructions:

1Go to AirTran.com by April 15, 2011, and select your desired AirTran Airways flight(s). All travel must be complete by April 15, 2011.

2On the payment page, select 'Discount Coupons' and enter the discount code and certificate number included above. One Discount Certificate is allowed per person per reservation.

3Click the 'Submit Coupon' button, and we'll apply your discount instantly.

I have the Airtran VISA but I don't really ever use it. Maybe that's why I didn't get the certificates in email? :confused3

maybe coming out in batches:wizard:to u, had thought it was a mass mailing of sorts...i do already have 2 one way flights booked thru Oct with them.

i don't think i've ever gotten this sort of offer before from them directly associated to the CC

No Airtran email yet... darn.

Nothing here, yet. Though we fly AirTran a lot, so they probably figure that they don't need to entice us.

One of the perks of the Airtran Visa is 2 $50 discount vouchers which are issued on your yearly anniversary date after you've paid your annual fee. Could this be what you've received?

That's certainly what it is.

BTW - if you all can't use them, feel free to PM me the codes :)

ha ha-vultures r circling;) a mini 'bonus' trip in July is looking promising

i had no idea it's annual thing? We've had the cards for years & never got the offer :confused3

btw, i don't pay a fee on either of the cards (one a signature, one a platinum)...must check next statement(s) to see if they snuck one in on us:rolleyes1

Hmmm, might make it worth getting the card then. Never really checked out the perks. But since we fly every year the savings would cover the cost of the fee.

different offerings on http://airtranvisa.com/

i will caution i've had issues redeeming credits in the past, have had good luck this year though:) IMO way easier to grab on weekdays and a few months before travel.

u need 8 credits for 1 way, 4 for business class upgrade
