Airtrain flying nonstop from Des Moines!

If only they were doing this last month! In March (I think) Airtran will be offering flights from Des Moines to Orlando, some nonstop! My daughters will be so happy not to have to drive 3 hours to KC to obtain that nonstop!

Now lots of people go on those flights so Airtran will still be doing them when we go back in a few years!

I looked up some April flights and they were $99 each way, nonstop, and nice times of the day too! Not bad for Des Moines!

Wow, thanks for this post. I was just getting ready to book our May trip and was planning on flying AirTran out of KC. Instead am flying nonstop out of DSM for $180 per round trip ticket...you just saved me about 300 bucks plus 5-6 hours of drive time!

Airtran also flys out of the Quad Cities (Moline) nonstop some days. Same driving distance to KC, but smaller airport, easier to get to and thru, had no complaints from there so far.

Thanks so much for the info! We're looking at flights for October and didn't know they would be a possibility!
