Airport Transportation Question

Hey DISsers,

I'm planning to arrange ground transportation from the SAN airport in advance. Has anyone done this before? Our flight lands at 3:20 p.m. What time would you recommend that I submit as the "pick-up" time for our transportation? 4:00? Just wanted the expert opinion of all you experienced travelers! I greatly appreciate any advice that you are able to give. Thanks!

4:00 should be safe. To be honest you might be waiting a little bit, but I guess that's better than having them come too early. SAN is a fairly small airport, and luggage comes pretty quickly. If you land at 3:20, you'll be off the plane around 3:30, and you'll have your bags by 3:45 I'd say, at least in my many experiences.
