Airport transportation for big group

Hi there! Just wondering if anyone has used one of the Orlando-area limo companies to transport a large (12 people) group betwen the airport and WDW... I'm not sure if any of them have vehicles that would be large enough to accommodate that many people, but we'd definitely prefer to travel together. If anyone has any advice or recommendations for a good, reliable, reasonably priced car/van service that could handle so many people at once to/from the airport I'd love to hear from you!!

The "official" company of the dis boards is FL Tours, which is a good company. They have "Luxury Vans'' which should be able to accomidate your party just fine (as long as you don't have TONS of luggage). Hope this helps..

On the FL Tours website it says that their vans are for 10 people, which is what made me wonder whether they could accommodate us all. We'll only be at WDW for 4.5 days, so I doubt we'd have a lot of luggage. What I'm worried about is that we'll be making a grocery/liquor store stop along the way and I wonder whether we'll be able to fit all that stuff in as well...

Any additional feedback would be appreciated!!

I would look into 2 vehicles. I think that would be a lot less crowded and probably not that much more expensive. Plus as you indicate, it would give you more luggage and purchasing room!

I'd look into bus companies. There are several charter bus companies in the orlando area, I'm sure some of them have a "mini-bus" or something equivalent that holds 15-20 passengers, and might be reasonably priced.

Does anyone have any experience with a company called "The Limousine Company?" Apparently, they have larger vans that could transport us all, but I don't recall hearing/reading about them on the boards... Any other recommendations for bus companies would be awesome!!

Sue, in answer to your question, we need to make a grocery stop -- and I was under the impression that ME wasn't for private hire... Perhaps I'm mistaken, though.

Has anyone heard of Elegance Transportation? That's another one I found that seems to have larger vans...

But if you use DME, you could still take a cab from your resort to a supermarket and back AND save a great deal of money.

ME is not for private hire it's for all guests staying on WDW property. Unless you feel your group cannot sit on a bus with other people you could use ME and get We go shop to deliver your groceries to your resort.
