airport security & suspenders

I've been trying to be good in taking off all metal objects so as not to set off the metal detectors at the airports.

HOWEVER, I usually wear suspenders. So I end up getting a more thorough search which is a pain.

MY question, where can I find non metallic suspenders which do not activate the metal detectors? I've looked on the internet and there are belts (buckles) that are non metallic but I can't find suspenders. The TSA people at the check points said they've seen people wearing them (non metallic suspenders).

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
