Hi all as the title suggests id like some advice on airport parking. We fly 14th dec 2013-29th arriving back. We fly from MAN we ideally would like to park in the terminal as with 4 children getting out the car and into a shuttle will be a nightmare!
Any advice will be great! Thanks x

When we flew from MAN we used the airport meet and greet service. Couldn't fault it - dropped and collected the car from next door to the short stay just across from the terminal.

we flew from terminal 3 and i found the meet and greet rubbish you had to take an elevator then walk through the multi storey to get to the meet and greet cabin so at least 75% of the regular multi storey car park spaces would have been closer and more convenient

Thanks we booked what we thought was meet and greet last May and when we called we had to drive to a house near the airport an they drove us and another couple back in a mini bus so do not want to do that again x
Would just like the cheapest terminal parking price I can for ease xx

Eeek! That sounds really dodgy! After that experience I would only want to park directly at the terminal too.

Be careful who you book through. There are so many reports of people having their cars used as minicabs whilst they have been away or coming back to a big parking fine when their car has been parked on double yellow lines somewhere in Croyden!

Check out holidayextras.co.uk they offer good deals on parking. We got discount through the AA as well if you have membership to them.

I used Holiday Extras and paid £85 (after Cash Back) for 1 night at the Park Inn at Heathrow with 17 nights parking (car left at hotel - I kept the keys) we just caught the shuttle bus for the 5 minute journey to the terminal in the morning.

Was great - we arrived the night before flying, no stress about delays had a fab meal at the local pub across the road and on our return it was a breeze to get the shuttle back to the hotel, collect our car and just drive home.

I realise I was departing from a London airport but this deal was MUCH cheaper than any terminal parking and allowed a much more relaxed, stress-free start to out holiday.

We did choose the mystery hotel - so did not know which hotel we had (other than it being 4 star) until we booked - but lets face it, Airport hotels are much of a muchness.

Check out Holiday extras and be sure to go via Quidco if you have an account with them.

When parking up we always use Meet & Greet at Manchester. Always been there to take the car on arrival right from the terminal and waiting outside when we get back. Especially appreciate the M&G service in winter, Dec it is great to step right out the terminal into a warm car.
Far better than having to de-ice a cold car which I used to do.

Your dates would be £34.71 using the company I use after cashback http://www.quidco.com/park-and-go-uk-airport-parking/

For the multistory I would expect £60-70 for same dates, just not worth it to me.

We took the mystery deal as well for our trip. I also agree that being there overnight makes it much more relaxing.
