We are looking for a reasonably priced hotel as close to MCO as possible (without being the Hyatt Regency INSIDE the airport).

Any suggestions? It will be the Friday after Thanksgiving in November and our max spend is around $100US.

Personally I would suggest bidding on a 3* hotel in the MCO zone through Pricline. Most of the time you can get one for about $45 to 55. All of the 3* hotels in that zone have complimentary airport shuttle 24/7 and are quite nice. Recently the Marriott and the Sheraton Suites have been coming up. (at other times the Hyatt in the airport, Holiday Inn Select and Crowne Plaza have been frequent hits...all are nice)

If you bid this early you might snag something for the going rate, although that is a very busy time, so hotels may not have released any inventory to Priceline....never hurts to try though...if they don't accept your bid you have plenty of time to rebid or book a standard reservation.
