Which is the best airport hotel with parking for Manchester.

Availability at the minute is poor, not many hotels have rooms for three.

We always stay at the Radisson SAS.

Like the fact that you have a walkway to both terminals. Love to be able to look out of window and watch the planes taking off and landing.

I've been looking at this too. I booked a night at the Britannia Hotel in Stockport for when we go next year but after reading lots of bad reviews on Trip Adviser and taking the advice of others on here and the dibb I have now decided to cancel this booking (no deposit left so no great loss). I have had one or two recommendations made to me - in Stockport - Henry's Hotel, this looks lovely but they don't take one night bookings for midweek so that ruled it out I'm afraid. A guesthouse named was The Copper Beech however with bother of these you would still have to drive to the car park after.

I've also had various recommendations for the Radisson, Hilton and the Crown Plaza however the Radisson is well out of our price range as the cheapest price I could find was £60 per person. I also found a what looks to be a pretty good guesthouse called Rylands Farm in fact I have posted a thread asking anyone if they have heard anything about it but as yet no one has. They also do parking have a look the website is www.rylandsfarm.com and courtesy transfers otherwise the website with the most options I have found is www.activehotels.com or there is also www.s-h-systems.co.uk.

Hope this helps.

Another vote for Radisson, but boy is it expensive at the moment!

Best price for a family room two years ago (including 15 nights parking was under £150), but last month had to pay £184. No discounts to be had unless you put up with off-site parking that you have to drive to first and that defeats the object of using the hotel attached to the terminal?

Happy hunting!

Care with these rates - I was quoted similar for October but found that the cheaper rates were either couple only (not family) &/or park up off site and be driven to the hotel.

As I posted, the latter defeats the object of using the Radisson which is attached to the terminal building and if you are a family they want £15 per night for a rollout bed for DS.

Read the small print, as always ::MickeyMo

We tried to book 2 rooms at the Radison for the 9th June and there fully booked :guilty: So if you going to book somewhere i would do it pretty fast so you can get a room.

I have a really good travel agent. It is a small independant agent on a small high street.

Always helpfull, and is the assistant manager.

Letting her search for the best price.

I think it will be the Crowne Plaza. The raddisson would be great, but the price is £30 more than Crowne.

Has anyone travelled on First Choice, the Star Premier class seats, we have booked and looking forward to it.

I think DD has sussed out that we are going away again, as she wanted to go the disney world after lunch. Poor kid, The big surprise will be the day before her birthday, when we collect her from nursery and travel down to Manchester, and she flies on her 4th Birthday.

This trip is for my 30th BDAY, only down fall will be DD d/day will travel out, DH b/day when we are there, and my b/day is two days after we return, But never mind i will still enjoy it very much.

Only been back 5 weeks!

Trying to work out what xmas presents people are getting! Yes I know very early to think about xmas. (I am a big kid!!!)

Thanks everyone for the info.
