Hi there!

Hope this is the right place to ask this!

We are flying from the UK to New York in October, and having 4 days there before flying to Orlando for our main vacation. I have never taken an internal flight in the US before so I'm not sure how long before the flight we need to check-in at the airport? We are flying with Delta, at 8.05am. Do you know how long before take-off we supposed to check in - is it an hour before or longer?

What ever you say I will get there an hour earlier, I'm a natural panicker when it comes to travel!! :rotfl2:

Thanks for any help you can give! :goodvibes

Thanks so much! Looks like I need to be there much earlier that I thought! Hope i can get a cab that early!!

Sure you can. NYC is a 24/7 city. You can almost do anything at any time of day.

I don't know if you're flying out of JFK or LaGuardia, but I would allow plenty of time for either airport. Two hours should be plenty of time, although you'll never know how bad security is going to be.
