Check www.hotwire.com for airport hotels that offer a shuttle. Take the shuttle to the hotel and enjoy the day there. Then take the shuttle back to the airport early in the am on Saturday and take ME to the resort. No need to make any changes to the ME reservation, simply show up and go. If you go this route, you can't use the yellow tags and while have to pick up the luggage to take with you to the airport hotel.

If you can modify your disney ressie to include an extra day, more power to you. You can simply modify your ME ressie at that time and off you go....

I hope you make it!! Keep an eye on the storm, you might even want to fly out Thursday night to ensure you'll miss the storm!!

I am booked to fly to LAX for the day on Saturday. US Airways has a travel advisory issued so I switched my connection from PHL to CLT to try to avoid some of the storm and I am hoping I can make it but I am losing optimism by the minute.

Actually the storm isn't going to hit our area until Friday night; we are getting the storm from the Ohio Valley. Friday morning it will be in Southern VA and the Carolinas; that's the storm that is coming from the Gulf of Mexico that originated in Texas.

So if they leave Friday morning from PHL, they will be fine.

Congratulations - there may still be some snow left when you get back!

I'm packed, just a few last minute errands to do today. We fly out tomorrow morning so we should be okay. My travel agent got us a hotel in the contemporary for Friday night at a good rate and then we already have ressies at the GF on Sat. I hope we got the ME all squared away, I'm just packing my carry on in case my bags go straight to the GF.

I heard we are expecting over a foot of snow! Of course it will be worse here than northern areas, it's been a crazy backwards winter. I'm just glad I won't have to shovel anymore. Can't wait to post pictures from our trip!

Right now, they are predicting 13" plus for DE. NOAA has been posting that a second storm may be coming on Tuesday to add to the weekend storm.

I am sure there will be plenty left when you come home.
