Airmiles deals

I noticed my "back-to school" bonus points showed up last week :thumbsup2

now i'm working on the ones i get for using my Mastercard a certain # of times in December -- really wish i knew what that # is since we get more Airmiles when we use our AMEX :rotfl2:

What is that deal? I'm sure I've used mine plenty, lol.

In your account, was the "back to school" bonus labelled as "back to school"?

Man, I am missing all these deals ;(. How did you get the 25 at Metro one?

Mine came in the mail but there are a number of 25 point metro coupons in the deal of the day promotion that's on the air miles website right now.

Sorry it took a bit to reply but YIKES, i've actually been dealing with "real life"!!

Here's what it says on my account BACK TO SCHOOL COUPON BONUS .. i cut & pasted that so you'll know how it will show up. While i was looking at that i noticed that my "black Friday AND Cyber Monday" bonus Airmiles for shopping at Sears.ca came out to a whopping 101 .. on top of the regular ones i normally get :cool1: That brings my total for the last 30 days to almost 600! Dang we've been busy, i better make sure i have the fire-extinguisher handy for my credit cards!!

I ordered my tickets Monday evening and they just arrived this morning. Good job AM and Canada Post.....only 2 business days.

Got Minnie and Goofy. Is someone trying to say something?

You need to go on-line & sign up for the Metro Newsletter and then you will start getting the "targeted" coupons. They will be based on previous purchases and occasionally you will get "general ones" that say stuff like 25 bonus Airmiles if you spend over whatever they figure is your "threshold" amount. for us it sits around $60.00. The 25 card we're talking about came separately in the mail and is the size of a credit card .. a stiff card-stock .. that you can get scanned every time you spend $25.00 you earn 25 bonus Airmiles from now till Christmas Eve.

I also ordered am disney tix for my daughter Monday. They did not arrive today, but we r in pei, so it likely takes longer. Ordered for my self Tuesday. And ordered for my husband from his mothers acct last night.

I hope they arrive soon so I can start to put them in MDE.

I ordered my son a 7 day pass about 3 yrs ago and we have not used it. That was the last time I noticed the 'sale on airmiles ' for Disney tickets.

we actually got a card from metro that was good for multiple uses...think its good for a little while longer. spend $25 get 25 airmiles and u can keep using it. Once a day only..
Only thing i wish for is a safeway to come this way because u guys get lots of good airmiles deals.
We just got enough to order our tickets yesterday!! They come so quickly i remember from last time

I'm a member of the use my airmiles whenever I can. I won't go out of my way or alter my shopping to earn more but I found airmiles the most useful. I have over 10g points in aeroplan and still isn't enough to get a bbq spatula but I rented a car in Fort Lauderdale next month for 80 miles

I earned 293 points today :). Great deals at Rexall and Metro with tons of bonus miles :). Half way to a free ticket....lol. I have enough Aeroplan miles to get one ticket we want so hoping to have 3 free with points then only need to buy one more and upgrade the airmiles tickets to be equal with the Aeroplan :)
I don't go crazy out of my way or spend money just get the points. But I love when great deals are combined with bonus points :)

25 air miles for completing a 1 minute questionnaire from LCBO

25 air miles for completing a 1 minute questionnaire from LCBO

This is going to sound bad but I can't tell you how jealous I am that LCBO gives Airmiles! I really wish BCLC would get with the program! :thumbsup2

For those of you who do any on-line shopping, try not to be a dope like me! ALWAYS check to see if you can parachute through that Airmiles site to do your shopping. Lots of stores offer Airmiles ONLY on-line and ONLY if you access it via the Airmiles site! I keep getting burned when i realize after the fact that a certain store participates that way :headache:

The 2 that i missed out on just last night: Amazon.ca & The Source. Interesting one that some of you might be interested in is THE DISNEY STORE!! If you have a friend in the states who is willing to pass it on to you, you can avoid the stupid international delivery fees :thumbsup2

Oh my GOODNESS!! I thought I was the only AirMiles obsessed loon around...I'm frantic with the AM right now, as I'm within a whisper or two of hitting Onyx but I'm running out of time....this past week (I work for Safeway) my store had a bonus AM deal ON gift cards, which is really rare. So...I've dropped $800 on gift cards and gotten 400+ AM from it. :) I bought $200 of ToysRUs cards and then ordered my little guys' presents online in time to catch their bonus AM too, just not certain how much I got from them.

Going to DL end of April so goal is to get all our park passes via AM.

You should be able to do the LCBO survey....it's on the AM home page. It's about responsible drinking.

Generally, I always check the AM shop first before making an online purchase. At the moment I'm using Ebates instead. I booked my WDW resort through them and Orbitz. As a result I earned approx $40 and have since done almost all my Xmas shopping and some for my up coming home reno through Ebates. I've earned nearly enough to cover the $150ish that I paid on the exchange on the dollar. After Christmas I'll go back to only using AM.
