It did look like a good price. If you can find enough to get to $80 you could do the Bonus Boom offer that starts tomorrow. I'm not sure how long the sale is for though.

Well it's going to be a bust for me. My husband took our kids for like their 10th covid tests (always came back negative), and decided to get a test done himself. His came back positive today. Quite distressing as we follow all the precautions.

If anyone is looking for medical masks, most Rexalls around us had them for both adults and kids.

Sigh.

If anyone is looking for medical masks, most Rexalls around us had them for both adults and kids.

I just took one for the team! Placed an order with Amazon for $81.83, 5 items, 4 will come on Wednesday (our closest fulfillment centre is the one that's closed due to COVID-19 outbreak so no next day delivery on anything right now) and one not till April 9th.
Of those 5 items 2 come from different "included categories" at a total cost of $21.57.

TEST? If I only get miles on the items included that will be 1 lonely mile BUT, one of those items is the one that's coming later. If just ordering items from the correct categories triggers the whole transaction i might get 4. OR twist, i purposely picked one of the included items as the later delivery because that tends to split the invoice causing all kinds of issues with the miles.

I needed all of these things but couldn't risk screwing up the other promo and possibly missing 350 miles, if I only miss out on 40, that's fine. Now we wait.

I think I did two, Children's Place (spent more than $80) and used the AM portal so that's two at least! I decided to do the Shell since I actually need gas! And that will be 3. Not going to do the BMO since I don't want to spend that much on there just because. Kiddo is begging for a Switch, apparently I promised him one? I don't remember that but he said if he doesn't get it now he'll be super sad... I will probably redeem some AM for two games they have but I don't have enough for the whole machine so will just get that from amazon or something. Easter present I guess? To enjoy during the next 4 week lock down... Any way!

Can I use the get 40 bonus when you spend $80 on the AM portal more than once? Otherwise I'll use a different portal to get better return, and easier posting.

Thanks for asking! He's ok but it's day 3 of him reporting breathing getting progressively harder. I'm getting our neighbour to run for a pulse oximeter so we can measure his oxygen levels and hopefully ease my mind. Today was the first day he wasn't really hungry at lunch.

No idea where he got it. The rest of us are negative so far but need to get retested next Wednesday. He is always masked except when outside on walks with the kids. He does the kid drop offs and pick ups but there are no reports of outbreaks at school or daycare. The only other possibilities are one trip to the grocery store or just... outside (?). He got his positive result on Sunday and we haven't heard from the contact tracers. We notified the one person who dropped something off at our door in the 48 hours previous ourselves.

I am so sorry to hear about this, I really hope it ends up being a mild case and he is better soon.

That's scary that you have no idea where he got it! Do you know if he has a variant? Fingers crossed that your whole family stays well. I wonder if one of you had it previous to him and are now not testing positive.

Reporting in that we are out of the woods. Feeling very lucky, and want to recognize the hardship, uncertainty and pain that so many others have, are and will experience in the coming days. So thankful for all the support and kindness from this community, our neighbours, coworkers and friends.

Also, I wanted to flag that having a pulse oximeter to track the course of things was so helpful for us for caregiving at home. (I don't see it on many prep lists.) Our neighbour ran out to pick it up for us when the breathing problems started, and the readings were helpful for calling into urgent care, Telehealth, etc. Also helped my anxious brain to have data.

Trying to think of something about Bonus Boom to make the post appropriate to the thread... We get released on April 11th so maybe we still have a chance to complete it with a Sobeys shop. I'm upgrading my PPE though to do groceries now, and going even more deliberately during "off" times.
