I can see the AARP being more difficult to manage as I assume it's an annual memebership and like you I am now booking a year or more out for future cruises. Just booked Fort Lauderdale to Santiago Chile through the Panama Canal for Nov '26. We're going to apply for the OBC in the new year for next years cruises ($400US nothing to sneeze at). So glad I found out about this perk.

I applied for my OBC on my two cruises next year (March and October) last weekend. I got the initial approval email yesterday, and the final redemption tonight. Both are longer cruises so will be a nice add on for us.

On the past two cruises, I had the Shore Excursions desk go in and apply the OBC to my prepaid excursions, refunding my initial outlay. That was a great use of the non-refundable OBC!

Thanks for the reminder about doing the AM surveys @Donald - my hero. I got both Covid and Flu shots last night so it’s lots of couch time for me today!

I'm not getting many surveys this weekend so the 5x won't be getting me too many extra AM, but every little bit is good. I did go to shoppers and pop was on sale so I got 3 receipt AM for that, eggs were on sale too so less than the $4 needed to get AM. Oh well. We don't use that many eggs. I picked up the toothpaste and tooth brushes for our stockings, the rest of the stuff I'll get in a couple weeks on black friday I think. I'm debating whether I want a tablet or not. I use my phone for everything, so I'm wondering if having a tablet might help save the battery and help the phone last an extra year. I should use my kindle to read but the phone is so handy. I'll see if there is a good deal on black friday I guess.
