So my little jaunt down to the office Friday was fun. I guess with being a long weekend no one was going to work that morning. I got on the train at 8:20 and the car I was in was maybe 20% filled. It was so relaxing to sit and sip my tea while riding along. The office is gorgeous and HUGE. Hidden away in a place that literally no one would ever know it was there. Rehearsals were soooooo fun. There were very few visitors but all the other cast members came into the room to also watch and they were all dancing and singing along, it was a real party vibe. I got to see the final full run of one of the main theatre shows. Just incredible! All of the singing leads have beautiful voices. It was a long day, there was a lot of hanging around in between runs, but I'm so happy I had the opportunity.

Now I really need to get myself booked on a cruise. I keep holding off hoping that something will pop up under DD's discount. I've been checking multiple times a day on the ones that I'm considering at full price. There are only a few cabins left at the lowest price. LOL...last week I said I would only wait one more day.

Receipt collecting
things I am learning that may help others

Take some bottled water with you.... it was a hot humid day and I opened my blue Yaris car door and froze..... not my Yaris...someone else's.... left unlocked . Quickly shut the door and scanned the parking lot for my car....
ran away.

For those tricky carts locked together have an extra few quarters in your pocket.

For hard to reach receipts.... have a unsharpened pencil with an eraser in your pocket.

When a cart person or manager says can I help you ,,,don't say I am just collecting receipts.....
say I lost my receipt and am looking for it......some managers are pesky idiots and read you the riot act about how you can't take receipts out of carts.

When your not sure.... scan anyway.

Use the APP flipp ...shows you stores that may have what is listed on the Airmiles App on sale.....better chance to getting a receipt.

Find a Grocery store that has multiple outdoor grocery cart stalls.
Get your steps in while hunting....

Learn what days of week/month are popular,,, and times of the day.

****Seriously people have no idea how to drive or Park in a parking lot**** .... wear a bright color and watch your step.

Hand wipes and sanitizer in your vehicle is necessary.
Stay healthy.

Their Columbus Day holiday is the same day as our Canadian Thanksgiving.

Still can't scan
tried to scan son's account for a couple of receipts and it's a no go.
Called Airmiles which by the way speaking to an ambassador (service person) is not listed as one of their 4 choices ,,,I eventually just hit 0 to speak with someone. Seriously who is running their Tech Dept?
Frustrated ..... she put a report in but couldn't say if there was an issue.
