Cuba is a great place but you have to be very careful about where you go. There are huge differences between the regions and huge differences between different chains. The chains each have different agreements with the gov and it plays a big part.

I was in Varadero at Beaches Varadero, so good area and resort for the times. Food was really not great and infrastructure wasn't good, but the beach was amazing.

We have been to many areas of Cuba. We know that the food is bland, but ok, and safe. We dont go for the food. Go to relax, sit on a nice beach and not be bothered. Price is always great. Infastructure, yes busses are old, wifi is iffy, but again, we go to get away from all that, so as long as we make it to the resort we can then forget about all else. And love the people,,always friendly.

75 miles flash offer I think is the AM Shops one, not Amazon as I didn't do that one I got the 75 miles. Mine was done through ebay.

It was one of those earn 1 mile on AM Shops, get 75 miles and it was supposed to post by Feb 25, I believe.

Edit: It was supposed to post by Feb 10 according to its T&C, so right on schedule.

I didn't bother doing that Amazon one.

Not much on the card linked offers for me at all, so I'm hoping that Dollarama might be included, but I'm not very hopeful.

generally speaking those card link offers only update monthly so what we see is what will be available for this upcoming flash offer. We rarely use them since it's usually very high threshold with little return for things we don't buy

What would be the date of that flash offer? The only purchase I've made since December is Amazon on Jan 10 and I got the 75 miles. I think for this Amazon one, it didn't have to be any category, so it wouldn't generate any air miles on its own.

Well, since there was an airmilesshops offer of 75 ams during the dates when I made an Amazon purchase, I guess I am safe to assume that what I got was the airmilesshops flash offer. I don't care as long as I get my miles and I can cross it off my list of miles owed to me.

I had recorded that Air Miles owed me 75 miles for that purchase in my notes and have that screen shot saved with multiple other air miles screen shots. If I need to find something to dispute it with Air Miles, it is there somewhere!

I've taken the time to go back thru my emails to see what's up with the online promos and there were TWO separate ones at TWO different times:
Earn at least 1 mile from Jan 10-12th and get 75 miles (what just posted for most of us)

Jan 31st - Feb 2 spend $ 20 on anything from A-mazon get 50 (not 75) miles to be posted by ?? not sure I didn't make a note about that tiny detail!

They will send us back a text/call to authenticate the account. Not sure what this is going to mean for households with more than 1 account (and don't want to use their cell phone #).
