So I just submitted a receipt dated yesterday for eggs and it came back as expired past its submission date. Say what? Of course I submitted a missing miles inquiry.
Jeez now I hope eggs were last week.

So my takeaway from this is we should upload our receipts or screenshot the offers before Wednesday at 11:59pm. Let us know if you get the points owed (eventually).

I purchased a cantaloupe today and the receipt thingy actually worked for me. It's the first time in weeks I haven't had to file and inquiry.

For anyone who has booked a hotel using AMs. I'm trying to book the Alt at YYZ and use my AMs to pay. I thought AMs covered everything but it wants my CC number to pay $59.82. Is there a fee it doesn't cover?

Just booked a 9 night in Punta Cana for mid November. Now booking hotels and thought it would be a good use of my AMs.

So still waiting but just double checked the reason for denial and it says expired receipt and it says the date on my receipt is June 16, 2024 but has the correct total from my bill from yesterday. Everywhere I look on the receipt it shows 08 14 24. I didn't notice the date when I put in the missing miles report just the reason. No idea where it picked up that date but if they deny it again I will be chatting with them. I know it is only 5 miles but it was their stupid algorithm that read the date wrong.

Does anyone know how many miles for sunscreen last week? I’ve got a receipt with 4 sunscreen and they denied it.
I might do the chat thing and see what comes of complaining about all the refused receipts. I’ve easily been stuffed 75-100 miles now. OK…they were found receipts but the point is that there is no recourse after they refuse the inquiry too.

Yes, there is a fee that you have to pay at time of booking. It’s not a flat fee so the amount varies. Also, you have to read all the fine print because some hotels have resort fees or parking fees that are also not included and paid directly to the hotel.

Rebooked Dreams Flora as it's on the smaller size. We are booked at Dreams Royal Beach in January.
Thought we would try out the Alt hotel for overnight stay at airport as I can use AMs. It looks like it is on the UP line so that's good. I haven't found the Sheraton Gateway on AMs.

When I used my Scene+ and booked a room at Universal everything was included via my Scene+ points (Expedia).

When I recently booked for Nov at Dockside via Airmiles
I paid an extra 116.00 Taxes and fees.

I have stayed at Cabana Bay and while it is a great Resort due to my skin disorders I can not make use of that great Lazy river. It is super close to Volcano Bay. Got to love the new shakes Malt Shoppe!.

I switched over to Dockside and do love it. I have stayed there 3-4 times. The rooms and food court are more than adequate. ( I do not like Surfside).
The Walgreens is just a corner store and has no Pharmacy ,,however liquor, case water and beer can be bought there. The Bar area is great for work from vacation check in. (My son uses this location).
It is close to may Big Box stores on Universal Blvd.
My son walks to some ,,,me I Uber.
Ryan likes the Gym.
Having the option to use my Starbucks gift cards great.
I'd rate it above any of Disney's All stars Resorts and almost a moderate.

Another vote for Dockside. We have stayed at Aventura in the past. Dockside was great. Busses fast to get to the parks. They upgraded our room and having the extra space was a real bonus. We also used the Starbucks for food and drinks as well as the food court. Corn dog nuggets the same as at Magic Kingdom but cost way less. The lines can be long but they moves fast. The lobby can be busy at times but we weren't hanging out in the lobby anyway.
