In that train of thought. I was behind someone in the grocery store cash the other day. The person in front of me had a huge order ($500). Cashier asked her if she had Airmiles. She said no, I almost asked if she wanted to scan mine but I didn't.

I have the same urge many times as well!

For the scanned receipts , has anyone gotten any points for No Frills receipts?

My AM for receipt that I submitted were denied because the receipt was "too blurry". Which they managed to see broccoli on it (though I hadn't actually bought any) but not the other items I do not like their process at all. Can I resubmit it? Probably not.

I have resubmitted in the past and it worked.
There have been many times where I have just said the *&ll with it and given up.


The problem with Airmiles receipts is that there is really no one to call regarding problems.
They have no one doing quality assurance tech.

I am sorry I don't know who to direct you to,,, No Frills is listed as the first Grocery on their APP list.
It really should work.
Maybe the regular Airmiles people can help?
Have you tried submitting a Inquiry on the APP?

I got my miles for the Siggi’s yogurt and toilet paper from No Frills before. But there’s an issue with the receipt not showing the store address, so I had to submit an inquiry. But the miles were rewarded after a few days.

You can submit an inquiry for that receipt, state how many miles are missing and use the item description as shown on the receipt. Ask if you can resubmit the receipt if needed.

I had done that, they just said it was too blurry after i sent the enquiry. that was it, no other next steps. I resubmitted it and will wait and see.
Whole thing is frustrating without someone to speak to about any of it. It was about 50 AM so I'd like to get them.

Usually if it is too blurry the AI bot tells you it's too blurry and asks if you want to take another shot of the receipt. It may take a while but they should come through with the missing miles.

If you resubmit it and they are going to reject it they do so with a statement something like " We've seen this receipt before". If you didn't get that message it is looking more promising. I had that happen when I submitted two receipts on two separate accounts that were mere minutes apart( time on the receipt). They were unique receipts but I couldn't get AM to see it that way. I took the items in question back to the store and returned them. Then proceeded to purchase them again and submitted that receipt (it was worth it, 75AM bonus or something like that). We do what we have to do for those AM.

I hope they will fix it and the second time wasn't too blurry. At least they did give me one thing from it so I should get the 25 bonus for July for earning 1 AM thru receipts. I'm just realizing I want to keep Onyx and need to earn some more AM. Oh and I forgot to go to Dollarama today, meant to do that for the shop there twice bonus. I am off my game. Guess I will be going out this weekend!

Lady beside him won a $50 Shell Gift Card.

So I may have taken a little tour of the cart corrals. I found 6 receipts and it’s a very interesting snap shot into other peoples shopping/eating habits. I haven’t done the math but I’m guessing I will net around 60 miles plus a few from my own.

I found one receipt that someone spent $23 on twizzlers and water.

I just scanned and did the math…92 miles. Some went through, some are sitting on hold and some partially posted with the rest under inquiry.


Also, got gas today and did the instore purchase. I used DD’s card today. If all her offers stack it will end up with 210 miles. One more fill on that account this month. for another 50. I would say it’s been a good AM day

My receipts are No Frills. I literally grab it out of the box the PC Express uses and scan. Only one thing that I needed to send for inquiry, and I did get those points after the weekend.

Ha! I never even thought about this idea. I always see receipts in the carts or even at the self check outs. Desperate collecting times call for desperate measures!

Interesting article from Money Sense about AMs. I already knew most of it thanks to this group, but it was worth the read. I did learn that Amazon is now an e-voucher you can redeem for. Not sure if that is new or I just missed it.

I shopped at Metro yesterday and I hit the wrong button and had the receipt sent to my email.
I tried printing it off to scan but it comes out too small. Any other ideas how to do this?
I did buy 3 products I'd like the Airmiles from.

From my experience, they don't accept emailed receipts... it may be in the terms?
