OT ,,,,wife and one daughter going to WDW end of month,,,other daughter and I have to work......I know about other grocery options for delivery there,,,ie. Dizzy Dolphin,,,but I see Amazon delivery for groceries. How do I do this,,,it wont let me enter US address?

very complicated! You need an Amazon. Com account but you can set one up with prime for a free month (just don't forget to cancel it like i did but they did refund it) then you can use Amazon fresh i think? I could not get it to accept the address no matter how i put it in, just gave up and made another trip to the grocery store. I know it works because there was a steady stream of deliveries happening!

I'm pretty sure that Walmart delivers groceries down there. Amazon seems to be hit or miss for Canadians. Another easy option is Uber Eats. They will shop and deliver. DD has ordered items from Walgreens and Target a few times.

I have been watching this question asked a few times recently on FB and the answer seems to be that they put in the hotel address as the billing address. Lots of people swear it works.
On our trip in Feb. I used Vacation Grocery to pick up and deliver for us. They are furloughed former Disney staff. It was easy enough and everything came as ordered. This time, when we go end of Aug, I am going to Uber to Walmart I think. We will not need much and I might see something I 'have' to have.

I did a Walmart delivery, I think there's a minimum $35 order, and I paid the delivery fee as well, but it was still a lot cheaper than buying bottles of water and gatorade, and full sized sunscreen (since I travel carry on only). Any way, it was super easy to do. I couldn't figure out Amazon myself. I had Instacart as a backup planned, Publix is the store, but it was more expensive for the items we were getting.

FYI, Air Miles has made some changes to redeeming of Dream Miles for CAR RENTALS...

Sometime early in the pandemic they changed so that Avis and Budget were the only companies you could redeem AM with for car rentals -- no more National, Enterprise or Alamo !

Today or yesterday they have changed back !! Specifically:
Our car partners include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise and National, with car rental locations in Canada, USA, Europe and the Caribbean. There are select locations available throughout the rest of the world. All search results are based on availability.
Airport locations can be booked with all providers, based on availability.
Off-Airport locations can be booked with Avis, Alamo, and National Car Rental, based on availability.

*happydance* This will let us book with our preferred provider, National !! Bonus that for the dates we are looking at National is cheaper than Avis ;-)

In addition, previously when redeeming Dream Miles for a car rental, the entire rental had to be paid for with Dream Miles. This is no longer the case !

You can pay for your car rental, including taxes & fees, using Dream Miles™, a credit card, or a combination of both. For car rentals, all collectors will be prompted to use Miles for a minimum of 50% of the total cost of the rental. You will be prompted to pay taxes & fees with your credit card—unless you have an American Express® AIR MILES® Reserve credit card, in which case you can use Dream Miles™ to cover taxes & fees.

Finally, there used to be a $10 booking fee when you made the booking yourself through their online website. No more !

There is no fee to book at airmiles.ca. For bookings made by a Customer Care Ambassador, there is a flat fee of $50 per booking for Blue and Gold collectors. There is no fee for Onyx collectors.

Anyhow, thought people might like to know about these changes.

I have not checked if there are changes to the hotel and other bookings, but they have moved to a new booking platform so there may well be.

sorry i didn't respond earlier, it was the hotel address it had a problem with, like I mentioned, they had zero problems with charging the card! I just used our home , they also didn't have a problem with the bizarre way my first name appears on my card compared to my name on the account. It is a US Mastercard and just like my regular one BMO continues to put J B on every single thing. I've contacted them multiple times to switch to my first name and it's never worked.
how are they getting from the airport to the resort? Why not order for curbside pickup- I'm fairly certain that the Publix offers that.

We used Walmart when we were down there. I signed up for the Walmart + (I think that's what it's called) for a free one month trial where you get free delivery and priority delivery times and had no problem cancelling it after my free month. We were there 11 nights so put in another delivery the night before. No issues, prices were good and they packaged everything appropriately. They can leave with Bell Services. Unless you have alcohol, then you have to meet them to show ID. They send you a message when the driver is out and you can track where the driver is, so you know when to leave the pool to go meet them, etc.

Yes thank you, was close but not that close. We had 3 tornado warnings on the cellphones, apparently they came after it had already touched down. Very scary! I sent kiddo and cats to the basement just in case. But thankfully it was the other end of Barrhaven from me.

Have you ever heard that song here we go around the Mulberry Bush,,,,,,,,,, well I have been shopping all day for a dishwasher and that song has been playing in my head all day.
I don't suffer sales people who know less than myself about a product they are supposed to be selling.
The son...well he enjoyed playing with the full size arcade games in the Brick.
We went to TAS appliance, Coast Appliance, Costco , Home Depot and the Brick twice.
Tonight I drove over to a larger Brick store and again compared the two units.... Bosch and GE.
I ended up going with GE and added the extended warranty to it.
Here's hoping that it lasts at least 10 years.
So happy to have this done and over ,,,bad news is I have a 3-4 week waiting period for the unit to arrive.
Oh well at least I started the process.
Time for a big cup of tea.

Good thing I made a run to Metro today. Fingers crossed that my excellent offer actually worked. I have an offer for spend anything get 100 bonus miles and I have to opt in but everytime I go to opt in it just takes me to the main air miles page and there is nowhere to opt in. I have taken a screen capture of the offer and the page I go to when I click on the opt in button and I will fight for my miles.
I also had a Metro spend $50 get 50 so I am sure that I will get that one as well but neither of them are the ones that post on the bill so I will have to keep an eye out for them.
I should also earn 100 miles for shopping with a card link offer at Kernels popcorn. I have earned the base points from that so again I wait for the bonus miles to post. I am thinking that they won't post until the offer ends which is July 31st.
I will also get the spend at 3 places earn the 175 miles as I have now done Metro, Shell and AirMiles shoppes. I ordered myself a Lego Santa set from Lego. I got birthday money so I spent it on something I wanted.
July is looking like a good AirMiles month for me and I do need to earn lots of miles.

They were doing a survey... seemed to be asking many questions about the level of satisfaction people have with all the different rewards programs.

I ordered some things for myself from Clinique and Sephora. Both orders over $100 and paid MC so that gives me the extra 50 for MC, plus the 20X, plus each had a small multiplier 2X/3X. I also ordered from Nike and Lululemon. I still need to order a steamer and crockpot which I think is going to come from Walmart....I think I can put my gift card towards that and still get some miles....20X plus MC.

The clothes........they have a strict dress code. It's called the 'look'. They do not allow athletic wear of any kind unless they are backstage. They do not allow anything with visible labels or graphics. Being a dancer most of her clothes are from Lululemon which are not allowed....athletic and have a label. Her dresses are all skinny straps, also not allowed. Performers get a lot of privileges that other crew don't get. They are allowed to spend their free time in guest areas which is why the dress code. It is nearly impossible to find summer weight clothes right now. She has no shorts or plain t's that fit the dress code. I have been to several Winners/Marshalls and dealt with the Old Navy clearance section.....all I managed to find were 2 plain cotton t's and a pink cardigan that she thinks she can wear over her dresses. I did however find the socks she asked for at the Nike store beside Old Navy......ummmm, and I walked out with 6 pairs of shoes.

May I ask how your 50 points from Mastercard posted and when? I am still figuring out what am owes me from the Black Friday offers. Ugh! Thanks. Teresa
