Has anyone ever had this policy enforced upon them for having oversized baggage? Most, if not all airlines, now have a 62" limit on baggage. That is, length+width+height cannot be more than 62".
When we flew to WDW in 2002, we used one 30" wheeled bag and two 28" wheeled bags and had no one even question the size. If i am not mistaken, the size limits use to be a bit more than 62". The problem now is that our 30" bag is actually 65" which would put us over the limit and could be charged the oversize fee.
My DW wants to purchase another 28" wheeled bag instead of using the 30" bag we now have. I, on the other hand, would say take the chance with the 30" bag we used before instead of going out buying another 28" bag which we do not need. With two children traveling also, we need all the space we can get without having to carry more that 4 bags.
