has anyone had experience with checking an ECV onto continental OR delta?
what to they require , how does it work? do they charge extra? where do you pick it up?
if they take it apart, do they ever lose pieces?

we are trying to determine IF we should fly or still drive to WDW....

I've checked twice on Continental and it was very easy. I rode my ECV to the gate--told the agent I wanted to gate check it--told her what kind of battery I had--rode it to the entrance to the plane--showed them how to put it in manual--took my basket, key, and tools into the plane. When I got off, it was waiting for me.

I did make sure to have a copy of my manual with me just in case, but never needed it.

we have one problem..
:rolleyes1

we don't have a manual!
we don't have the foggiest idea who the manufacturer is :confused3
we purchased this as a special, from a store, who just had these things at cheap prices not-in-box.
(I have searched the thing with a fine tooth comb,, not a mark on it!)
I sure hope we don't need the manual for anything.........
