I just got a call from my TA. U.S Air has done a major time change and all the flights are different. SHe told me that some were even cancelled. My flight was cancelled!!! She just told me that she is gonna book me on Delta and that it would cost me another $21.00!! This is the 3rd time (I only booked this trip in February) that U.S. Air changed my flight. Now, because of this change, I have to change my plans on my last Day at Disney because I'm now leaving 2 hours earlier!! I guess I'm so angry because I have never had to deal with this kind of problem with my flights before. So I ask this question, I have never been on a Delta flight, how are they??

I've had nothing but bad luck with my 3 Delta flights.
3 late flights (mechanical).
Rude employees. (some, not all)

Only plus was their baggage handlers. They are the best.

All the major airlines handle schedule changes just about the same.

It's my understanding that if "they" cancel or change the flights , they should be able to book you in another flight at no cost to you. Did you call Delta directly yourself? I would call them and ask.

I guess it all depends on your location. I fly Delta as often as I can, most delays have been weather related. The only cancelled flight was for mechanical reasons, I was changed to a an even better flight and upgraded to first class, and I was flying on a CHEAP ticket. My worst experiences have been with America West, American, and a United charter flight...so I guess we all have our "Bad Air Days".

Thanks for everyones replys. I'm still tryng to figure out whats going on with the $21.00. I should be finding that out today.

The $21 is the difference in the fare you had on USAir and what you can now get on Delta. If you had switched to a different flight on USAir there would have been no price difference. Have your TA rebook with USAir and you won't pay the extra $21.

ctgirlluvsmickey are you going to fly out of Bradley?

If so, I always fly Delta from there and have never had a problem. The flights have been the same for years and the on time schedule has been very good.

I always fly Delta, and have had nothing but good experiences. I tend to choose the earliest flights of the day, when delays are at their fewest for any airline. I usually fly out of Dulles.
