With the rise of gas these days going through the roof:mad: , I noticed that airlines raised their prices:mad::scared1: . What are the chances the airlines prices will drop again?

They seem to have raised and dropped so many times over the last several months. I hope they come back down.

No way to tell. Airline prices, like many things, are partially a product of forecasts and expectations, so if folks "knew" they'd go down in price, then they already would have. Add to that the complexity that some airlines are still charging below cost, and I wouldn't bet on prices going down.

Prices usually go up and down (with regards to Florida, at least) with regards to the season - they will be up during spring break and go down after Labor Day. Having said that, we've always been able to get a generally good price (under $200 each) to WDW. But we live outside of Philadelphia and there is competition, so that helps.:)

Here are some sites that may be of help. I know it can be nerve-racking experience because you have to "bite" eventually or there will be no seats for when you are traveling.

In addition, use Kayak, Expedia, Orbitz, CheapFares, any airline website of the carriers you are considering, download DIING from SWA (even if they don't fly from your airport, maybe they fly somewhere close by that may be cost-effective), also check out JetBlue fares and USA3000. Sign up for all e-mail alerts that seem pertinent.
