Airline changes?

I keep reading about airline changes, we are on southwest do I have anything to worry about? Our email has changed since we booked (went from dial up to cable modem WOW what a difference it is GREAT!!) anyhow do I need to call southwest and check on our ressies?

It is always a good policy to re-confirm your airline reservations about 7 days before your trip. In addition, the airline should always have your updated contact information so that if there are changes, you can be notified.

I won't tell you that you have nothing to worry about, since flights do change, but you can allay your own concerns by making a phone call. If there was a change, it is likely that it is very insignificant.

I tried to email southwest with our new address and they don't accept email! (imagine that) I will have to give them a call to re-confirm everything Iguess.

I should have been more explicit, sorry. You definitely have to call! If you have a cell phone #, make sure to give them that too. I have literally been called in the car en route to the airport when there was a cancellation. It was US Airways and they needed to re-route me; I actually got way better flights (LOL) bc I had booked myself Boston-BWI even though I was going to DC (it was 100's cheaper to go to BWI) and they offered to put me on the US Airways Shuttle right into DC, no extra charge!

The moral of the story is that if they can reach you quickly about problems (and I am not promising that they will try, but IF), you will make out much better than if you find out at the airport after waiting in a long line.

just booked with southwest yesterday,
we can either go out of logan airport or manchester
sort of in the middle just a bit further to manchester Nh.
but we decided to go on dec 1 and have been watching fares
have not been able to get what i like to call our regular fare to florida $150.00- 200.00 nonstop delta express , this namely because of the holiday the blackout dy on dec 1
so we said lets go out nov 30 could find ok prices but the flights
all had stop and the nonstop where more money but crappy times,,, so checked Southwest, could get 4 people there for $1084.00 nonstop so was pretty happy with that...
then i looked under there package deals airfare and car package.... it came up $1009.00 that was a/f and a car for 8 days and it was less than just buying A/F. was happy
We where going to go mears from airport to WDW BW.
4 people and then use disney transportation to get from
the world done to the Port and then back to the airport after the cruise.... saved a bundle when u add it all up .....
so since we where flying out the day before why not fly out first thing in the morning and have the day.... so was able to call CRO and get 2 rooms at allstars for $49.00 each Annual passholders rate.... so next morning we will just drive over to
our home away from home the Boardwalk.....

so any body still looking for airfare from this area try southwest
with a car package......




Question how much is parking at the Port...
will not be to bad since it is split 4 ways....

I've flown SoWest 6-8 times a year for the past 15 years and in all that time, they have rescheduled one flight that I've been on. So while it can happen, I believe it is very rare (and I've been on a flight with 6 people that you would think they wuold cancel but they always need the plane on the other end...the pilot called it our "private jet")
BTW, you don't need to show your credit card when checking in. Just give them your ID (have the adults in your party there and the kids w/o ID nearby) and they can look up your reservation. Have your confirmation with you "just in case" (this is to get your boarding pass...you still need your itinerary at security).
