I buggered up and I didn't purchase my tickets in time and now the prices have gone up a lot... just needed to gripe LOL

I knew I should have booked but the price had been stable for quite a while...

Anyways if anybody heard of a good deal from Sea-MCO end of August let me know! And I know not to worry yet as there will always be 'another' seat sale.

It's not your fault - it is sooooo hard to figure out when the right time to book is!

Keep trying:
www.alaskaair.com
www.airtran.com
www.delta.com
www.kayak.com
www.travelocity.ca
www.expedia.ca

If you haven't already, set up price drop alerts wherever you can - those help a lot!

Good luck!!! :wizard:

I posted on another thread on this Canadian boards yesterday about Travelzoo's alert that there are flights under $200pp roundtrip when you go to Travelocity.com. Just make sure you select "Flexible Dates". The sale applies to end of Aug dates (I know because I plugged in my end of Aug dates to take a look).

TagsMissy, I feel your pain. I got our flights back in April with a combination of Alaska points, $50 companion ticket, etc and booked as soon as I could because the prices had been the same for a while and close to what usually has been a good deal. I was so sure they were going to edge up. They didn't!
They went down, the dollar went up and I paid about $200 more (total) than I needed to. Oh well, I'm still satisfied as I'm getting 3 of us SEA to MCO for about $700 total for nonstops. Its always a gamble.
I did notice though that Alaska still has SEA to MCO for $139 (one way). You could book that and book a return on a different airline? (Their return is up to $239 I think) Or, as you said, there will always be another seat sale. :thumbsup2

I ended up getting something for US $288 -- CAD $326 incld taxes etc yesterday :D I lucked out and my TA matched and beat a US price

That price far beats the stupid prices from YVR especially when there's 7 of us going.
