When would you book? July 22-29
thinking air is always less on a monday it isn't it is the lowest at $166.00 each way. If we come home on Tuesday it is $113 going home.
Our friends already have the timeshare booked Sunday to Sunday. For work reasons my husband can't leave until that monday

Would you book air now? I have just never paid so high for one way at $164.00
I do have a coupon for $25.00 off of a round trip.

Another thought would you book the Tuesday to Tuesday at that great price hoping the air will go down?

help
thanks!

i just booked my flight out of Ohare.
$278 rt was the fare.

if you book one way at $166 and the return at $113, that would be about what i am paying for my flights.

if i used multiple carriers it was $166.50 per one way.
found that by playing around with different airlines.

my days of travel is monday for orlando and a return day of wednesday back home.

the latest i book my flights are 7 weeks out.

try hipmunk for different flight fares.

when you find the flight and price you are good with, then buy.
prices might be better during the week rather than the weekend.

good luck on what you decide.

We're Northwest Indiana too! (Hobart)
Anyway, we're going in Sept. I booked my tickets on a Tuesday afternoon. I got $143 going down and $133 coming home. Today (Saturday) the same flights are $182 and $177.
These prices are Southwest (actually Airtran, booked through S/W) from Midway to MCO.
I would definately wait until Tuesday afternoon to book flights.

Thanks but from what I am reading is that the $113.00 on certain days ends on Monday!!

so not sure what to do maybe I will book the Tues to Tues and hope the price will go down for Mon to Monday

I called Southwest & they said that the most expensive days to travel are Fri, Sat, Sun and now Monday!!

We always fly Southwest out of Midway to Orlando. When we traveled to WDW last February we traveled Tuesday to Monday and got really cheap flights. Round trip was less than $200 per person. We flew home on a Monday instead of Sunday because it was more than $100 cheaper. The lowest flight on a Sunday was $220 while the Monday flight was $114.00.

I found that Tuesday is a really good day to book the flights. I also watch for sales before I book.
