Just a hint.
When you post that you want suggestions and/or help finding a discount airfare or you want to know if this is a good fare being detailed is good.

For example, I have recently seen several posts on this board with airfare questions for November, December and Febuary. Well December 5th might be a "wait and see" date while December the 23rd might be "what are you waiting for" November has Thanksgiving and if you are coming from the NE Jersey Week! If you want helpful info, try to give some details. If you are going the Wed before Thanksgiving and the Sunday after you are probably too late. LOL!

A few sites I use

www.farecompare.com I love this site, it shows you what changing one day or so would do and also will pull up the flights etc.

www.farecast.com I don't find it as useful, but they do "help" predict the direction of fare changes.

We flying the Sunday after Thanksgiving and we booked it the day SW released the fares. I wasn't taking any chances.

When I look now, I see that pretty much every bucket is unavailable except the fully refundable that will cost an arm and a leg.

I also use farecompare.com and farecast.com. And airfarewatchdog.com is another good one.

More EXCELLENT advice from Carol!!!

Off to check out some of those sites, as I'm still looking for a flight home FROM FL at the end of President's week.
