We have decided to fly instead of drive in December. Now we could add 2 extra days on our trip! :-) My question is when should I buy the airfare? We fly out of Atlantic City NJ on Spirit Air

depends on when in Dec you are going. Flights around the holiday book up quickly. R/T fare under 200 is very good. If you see good times and a good price buy the tickets. If you are traveling non holiday times you may want to see if prices go down, BUT remember prices could go up and stay high.

Booking air fare is always a roll of the dice, just like go to AC.
Hope this helps

You might want to look at other airports EWR/PHL or flying to TPA.
That is high even for peak times. Start doing your homework.
Is Sprit the only carrier in AC that goes to Orlando?

FLL is 4 hours from MCO. A bit of a ride but better than driving from NJ.

As far as I knnow Spirit is the only one who flies out of AC. So far it seems the airfare for major carriers is much more. I hate Newark airport...I guess paying more for the ease and convenience of AC is fine with me
