I was just wondering what people in the east have been seeing price wise for there flight to MCO. I saw Delta at $278 this morning which is down from $284 yesterday, but up from $264ish a week or two ago.
I'm torn on if I should go ahead and book or wait. This is for flights Oct 21 to Oct 26.

We fly in Sept. from Buffalo, NY. I paid $289 per person round trip, nonstop on Jetblue. I booked the first day flights were released (in Feb or March). Those same flights are now over $400.

I did watch the fares & really only saw 1 leg go down about $15 since we booked. I didn't bother with a credit since there are just 2 of us. I have paid anywhere from $160 -$220 for similar flights in the last several years on JB or SW. I am OK with the price coz they are the flights I really wanted....early AM there & late afternoon return.

I was wacthing Airtran & USAir like a hawk for a 11/10-15 trip from the East Coast. Neither airline has gone down in price, only up. I booked AT when it went to $213 RT (USAir was almost $300RT at that point), and it's still rising when I randomly check it now (it's the OCD in me!)

I'd say book it now!

ETA - this was the highest RT fare from ABE to MCO I've ever paid - in past years we could get anywhere from $138-178RT easily on AT, about $200 on USAir.

Air fares are a lot like Kirsti Alley's weight. They may go down a little, but you can bet they will continue to rise!

last week we purchased our tickets from Philadelphia at a price of $200 on us airways

I just booked with Delta for our May 2012 trip. From Minneapolis to Orlando, I got the Non-stop tickets for $250.00 each. I saw them last week, didn't buy them, checked this week, they went up to 305.00, then yesterday found them again for 250. and booked them. I am happy with my price.:cool1:

Thanks everyone! I think I'm just going to go ahead and book my flights. I was hoping for a slightly cheaper price but this still isn't bad. Specially when I look at how high Allegiant prices have gone up Delta isn't so bad. :)
