Hi -

I found round-trip airfare for DH and I on United for $354.20 in total. This is for the first week in April. Does that sound like a good price or is it too high? We've been to Orlando before but I just can't seem to remember what we paid. This is a last-minute trip -- We usually try and plan it further in advance than this.

It sounds kinda high to me. We fly out of Philly and usually get something less than $200 per person round trip. But since it is last minute, that can be a problem.

I don't know what your travel dates are, but try Southwest. You might be able to find something less expensive.

$177 per person sounds good to me, particularly since you're going during a busy time. I'm happy to get under $200 per person any time of the year, but the last time I went during the spring break period, the best I could do was $212 per person, so I think you did pretty well.

Yes, that's what I was thinking that since its under $200 per person that should be a good deal. Do we need to be concerned about being in FL during spring break? I'm not even sure if we'll go to the parks -- maybe just float around and see what else there is to do because everytime we go to FL that's all we do is hang at Disney. Now there's absolutely nothing wrong with that of course but FL is such a beautiful state so I'd like to see what else there is to see.

Southwest Airlines is having an April fare sale ... you need to purchase by today. Good luck!

Oh great thanks for the heads-up. I'm going to jump over to SW's site right now!

:cool1:

Okay, I checked out SW -- the price is the same as what I already had. Oh well, maybe I'll go ahead and book.

In the current market under $200 out of philly is good. I tend to book SW so when the fares go down I can take advantage of the savings.

Hi,
Just to give you an idea of how low Southwest's fares can be, we (family of 4) are flying in June for a total of $388 r/t:thumbsup2

(That was a DING fare of $39 each way)

I think you have to get their DING! rate software installed to get the best rates.

Good luck!

maybe someone can help me out here. Just moved to the area and don't really know the SEPTA system yet.

If we get on at Exton and take it into the airport, is our car OK in the Exton parking lot for a week? Does it cost? Will I get towed??

Thanks. =)

I'm sure glad Southwest came to Philly. If not I might not be a DVC owner.

No sure if Exton allows overnight parking. Perhaps in the non-permit lot. I would call Septa and find out.
