airfare for christmas (next year)

Anyone know how much cheaper the prices are for booking in January vs. Spring vs Summer for the week of Christmas to Orlando?

We are considering going to DW next year. We live in Michigan, Near Lansing. There will be 4 of us going. 2 adults and 2 rug rats.

I looked at prices for this christmas and of course, outrageous.

What are some of your experiences?

I have a friend there now and she paid $200 RT for her tickets. So $400 for her and her DH.
Of course, they booked out in June.

Depends on where you live. Here in AK summer flights cost way more that winter flights, even over Christmas. We usually book 7-8 months out.

yea, we want to fly at the worst possible time. Dec 22 to Dec 29.

Either out of Lansing, Detroit, Flint or Grand Rapids into Orlando.

We want to go without getting a rental car if possible.
