Airfare Dec 2004 IND to MCO?

Does anyone think that there might be some airfare sales for December on ATA? Looking at possibly Dec 15-23.

I'm not used to flying so close to Christmas, so I wasn't sure if special rates were offered or not. Right now it looks like fares are about $220.

Buy now or wait awhile longer?

We have flown from IND to MCO each Dec. since 1992. Unless things are very different this year, the best fares will be when SWA comes out with their Dec. flights. ATA will usually match SWA and the fares should be as low as $130 r/t. We are waiting for Nov. 28 to Dec. 5 airfare from IND to MCO. As of now, SWA and ATA are the only non-stop flights to MCO from IND.

I just checked today and southwest still wasn't booking past oct 29th.

as soon as spirit opened their flight from ord to mco for christmas i booked, it was $167 and now i have to wait until sept. to get my seats. is which that is fine, i have the airplane seating and now i just have to decide which seats to choose and have back up seating just in case my first choice is gone. spirit only has 2 seats on each side for a few rows before they start 3 seats in each row and they even tell you about leg room and seats that recline and about the snack trays, different from ata & sw.

A while back for our December trip paid right $380.00 for 2 RT tickets for DW and me.Sound's like maybe I should have waited awhile,will live and learn.

I would definately hold off for a while....fares from Indy to MCO have been below $150 for over a year now....seems like ATA fares go down when SW posts as the previous foster stated. As soon as you see them drop below $150 I would book, or if SW posts fares for your dates and SW and ATA are still that high 10 days to 2 weeks after posting then you may have to bite the bullet... but after such a long run of cheap Orlando fares it is going to hurt if they go back up!!
