Airfare Crap shoot--- HELP!

Okay, I've booked the hotel, ADR, got the MNSSHP tickets in my hand but have not book the flight yet! With all the $$ I am spending for DH's 60th surprise, whats ten dollars here or there. Even so, I am so afraid to book for the end of October now. I keep thinking there is going to be some kind of "deal of the century" offered AFTER I book the flight. Any insights, friends? Thanks so much!
