We don't usually fly during peak season so this is new for us. We found tickets from Dallas to Orlando on Kayak at $265 apiece.(after tax) Is this a good price for March 17-23 - spring break season? Should I go ahead and book them or hold out and see if they go down? The tickets are with Delta who is notorious for changing their schedule but I could book them through AAA who would keep me up to date on the changes.

Thanks in advance!

ETA: For $33 more dollars (apiece) Airtran is the next best price at $301 per person.

we paid $411/person flying from California to Florida April 1, 2007. Best so far. We're flying with American Airlines--flights already changed though. I think that's the biggest problem with booking so far in advance. One flight changed by three hours and screwed everything up. I'm sure it will change many times between now and April. What to do........

I paid $234 per person flying out on April 3rd and returning on April 11th! I think it maybe the best you will see do to different places having spring break from begining of march through the 2nd week of april! That's why I booked mine I was afraid it was going to keep creeping up like it has been! Hopefully I did good by doing it! From ACY to MCO!
