Airbus or 747?

Hi,

Having booked with Virgin, how will I know if we are on an airbus or the 747?

We are a long way off being able to pre-book our seats but am curious so that we can start thinking about the best seating layout.

We are a family of 5 but are travelling with another family of 4......

give us your dates and flight number we might be able to look it up

go to VA and do a dummy booking for your exact dates and make sure you know which flight numbe it is ie VS15 or VS27 if its gatwick etc...when you have selected them you will be shown the outward and inward flights, click on the flight number and it will bring up a little box which tells you the aircraft type...obviously they are subject to change though!

We fly out on Aug 16th at 11.15 and return on 30th on the later flight (am still awaiting my confirmation - think it was 7 something...)

Thanks Vanda but I think VA doesn't have flights that far in advance because it is for 2013......

I will certainly be sure to do that though when we get to the 11 month mark

yes it only goes upto May 2013..
when I looked on V-Flyer http://v-flyer.com/ it showed it virtually 50/50 for the VS27 from Gatwick between both the 747 and airbus.
