Ok I hardley wear any make up on a reg day.
For my VR I want to have hair and make up done. I was told airbrush was like putting on a mask and that I would be misserable. Is this true?
Thanks
Heidi

Absolutely false. The majority of our girls go their airbrush route and LOVE it, myself included. It felt like I was wearing NO makeup and I typically wear a full face of makeup daily.

Airbrush stays on through humidity better than regular make up because it's coverage made up of very fine drops of liquid

What they said! Anyone who says airbrush feels like a mask is not using real, airbrush-formulated makeup in their airbrush. :thumbsup2

I've heard airbrushing is light and airy. The advice I got from Beaute Special is that airbrushing is best for people with oily skin or those that want a matte look. Regular make-up has a more "dewy, fresh" look.

I loved the airbrush makeup!!! I have a very high colour and react quite badly to the sun. Also, being a (VR) bride in my very late forties, i didn't want to look like a painted doll!! I wanted something which would cover well, feel light and natural and last all day. A tall order!!! The airbrush makeup that Patricia applied, really delivered!!! I was so impressed. I felt very comfortable in it (and we had a really hot day), and it still looked good at the end of the day!!!
Without the makeup, this shot would not have been impossible for me. You would not have got this close to me with camera!!!

I'm just agreeing with everyone else! I very rarely wear makeup, but I did airbrushing that day with Beaute Speciale. I thought it looked great and it felt great and it held for 10 hours. Mask schmask... I didn't feel a thing! :-)

also consider this is why you do a make up trial! if you can’t do a pre-wedding run with the actual people due to distance, i would consider doing something locally and taking some pics to show the result to your make up person on site and you could at least try it out. i didn’t do the airbrushing.

I skipped airbrushing and regretted it. I got regular makeup and it all melted off my face and onto my dress before my ceremony was over. I looked like a raccoon. My wedding was at 9am, so it was not peak hot. By noon when it was peak hot, my hair and makeup were a mess.

I 100% recommend going with airbrush. I wish I had.
