Hi there. We're going 9/11 - 9/15 and we have one non-park day. My boyfriend wants to book an airboat tour. Has anyone done this? Suggestions would be appreciated.

We have done Boggy Creek and Wild Florida, Wild Florida is a little drive but is much better in my opinion. Able to do an hour tour for a couple of dollars more than the half hour at Boggy Creek.

We did Wild Willy's at Christmas 2012 and had a great experience. Again, its a bit of a drive, but the tour itself was a full hour. Staff were excellent, and we got a great discount via Livingsocial.

We have booked Wild Florida for Christmas 2015, as they also have an animal park (free admission with an airboat tour). We got 20% off with a coupon code found online. Reviews are excellent.

We did the airboat ride at Boggy Creek in April and really enjoyed it. That was the furthest we've ventured out from WDW area, recall it took about 30-40 minutes from WBC.

I'm thinking of surprising my DD and DGD with the Spirit of the Swamp airboat tour. The reviews on Trip Advisor are really good. It's supposed to be the closest to Disney. We won't have a car and will look into Uber to see how much it should be to get there.
