Airboat Tours

My family is interested I'm going an airboat tour. Any suggestions? We don't have transportation, so tours that provide trans are preferred.

Most of the airboat tours, by nature, are away from the general tourist area as they need a large, swampy area to tour.

If you can rent a car for the day, I highly recommend Wild Willy's. We did their tour on our Christmas trip and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Wild Willy's is located in St. Cloud, though, so it was about 30-45 minutes out of town.

We did a tour through Spirit of the Swamp and they were great! Very small boat (just us and another couple); the captain was extremely knowledgeable; loved that we each had headsets to talk and he kept us out beyond our allotted hour to be sure we saw some good gators

We did one over Christmas also. It was in Melbourne, FL at Camp Holly. Our guide was wonderful! We saw over a dozen gators in our 90 minute tour (that actually lasted 2 hours).

It was DD and me and 2 other couples only.
