Air travel on 11/27?

Can anyone comment how air travel will be the Sunday after Thanksgiving? We will be travelling from Philly. Thanks!

That day and the Wednesday before Thanksgiving are typically the BUSIEST travel days of the entire year. All airports and planes will surely be very very crowded!!

Okay, how bout the Saturday after thanksgiving?

That should be pretty good... We're traveling that day also. You'll notice larger crowds, but nothing like Sunday.

This is just second-hand info, but I remember someone posting that they'd flown on the Friday after Thanksgiving and found it VERY quiet-hope so for DH's sake. That's the day he's flying home (leaving me at WDW-yay!).

I asked about flying around Thanksgiving time...we'll be flying ON Thanksgiving morning this year. We have Rapid Reward passes to use for this trip and Thursday and Friday are the only two days that aren't blacked out for us to fly (the 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 27th are blacked out..meaning SW expects those days to be BUSY).
