WHAT IS UP WITH THIS? :confused3 i WANT TO PURCHASE TICKETS TO ORLANDO FROM FLINT, MICHIGAN FOR FEBUARY13-18TH THRU AIR TRAN....FOR THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS,..I HAVE SEEN THE FLIGHTS LEAVING FOR THE 13TH...BUT, NO RETURNS AFTER THE 13TH...I'D LIKE TO BOOK (AND PAY) NOW...iT'S $99.00 ONE WAY...BUT, I'M A BIT HESITANT BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE TIMES OR PRICES WOULD BE COMING BACK...MY ALTERNATIVE WOULD BE NORTHWEST...WHICH WOULD BE ROUND TRIP..AROUND $287.00 EACH. WE CAN'T LEAVE UNTIL AFTER WORK..(AND SCHOOL) ON WEDNESDAY EVENING..

For whatever reason, Airtran's schedule from many airports to Orlando seems to end on Feb 13. There may be terminal lease, arrival/departure time slot contracts or issues. You might want to call them.

Airtran is similar to Southwest, JetBlue, etc, they only release portions of their schedule at a time. You (OP) just happen to have a trip that falls within their end date.

If you like the Airtran time and price for your outbound flight (TO MCO) I would book it as a one way ticket now. Then keep looking for your flight home on another carrier, or wait til Airtran releases more dates.

MANY airlines book all flights as oneways, so there really is no disadvantage to doing it this way, other than the fact that your flight home is not booked yet.

I do this every year when we go to Ft Myers in February, and it's actually fine.
