Air through AbD if trip booked through agent?

Hi! A question for you AbD veteran travelers: If I book my AbD trip through a travel agent, can I still call AbD and get my airline reservations through them? Love the cheaper airfare through AbD, but booking our river cruise through an agent would save us $600. Thanks!

Just have your TA handle the calling ABD to add on air.

ABD can't/won't deal directly with you, you have to go through your Travel Agent to book the airfare with ABD.

Your travel agent can request air quotes through ABD. We had ours do it for our China ABD in July. We ended up booking on our own though, because ABD rates for Business Class was much higher than we found on our own.
