Does anyone have experience putting a twin size air mattress in your luggage? We're visiting friends (not at WDW) next week and are worried about sleeping arrangements, in that there won't be a separate bed for DS 2 1/2. DH and I do NOT do well when he sleeps in our bed!!! :-)

If you are flying, please keep in mind that an air mattress tends to be pretty heavy which might mean a big charge by the airline. It would probably be more cost effective to send it via Flat Rate Priority Mail which would be $9 - $10 and would only take three or four days to reach your destination.

Safe travels!

Yes, we've traveled with DS's kids' Aero Bed many times. We used to check it in it's own little duffel bag (the one that came with the luggage set but seemed too small to do anything with!), But we've also just added it to the bigger suitcase. As Chaslaw mentioned, just keep in mind the extra weight.
