air conditioning override at poly?

I've heard it shuts off when people are sleeping. does anyone know how to override this?

Someone suggested a tissue or crepe paper attached to something so that it will flutter and set off the motion sensors

Power and Temperature Down button. BP will come on the display and the sensor is overriden for 48 hours.
