Air Canada Rouge, how was your experience?

I have a family member that works for AC, and she was always telling us that we were dramatic when we said the service was not as good on rouge... The first flight she took with Rouge she understood where we were coming from! lol

I definately don't think it's awful, it's just that the service is definately not comparable to "regular" AC. But It's comparable to Delta or US Airways IMHO.

Maybe it was just because I wasnt expecting much or maybe I had an extra helpful crew but I just flew regular AC and Rouge back to back and I honestly can say that the Rouge service and attendants were sooo much better. I knew I was going to have to use my own device so that might have played into it but the regular AC staff in both directions were aloof, pretentious and down right snarky. I have not flown AC in years as we usually travel out of Buffalo but I finally got to see first hand why there is such complaining about AC. I would travel with Rouge any time, it was great.

I agree that the AC crew is not very friendly. They just "do their job". I flew both AC and Korean Air during my trip to Beijing, Seoul and HK this past July, and I found the Korean Air crew more pleasant with more smiles. Can't remember Westjet much. My last flight with them was years ago. I have yet to try Air Canada Rouge.
