Well since carepages is down for maintenance tonight and I couldn't wait to post the following I thought I would share it here:

He had a really good day today. He actually is loosing quite a bit of the weight he gained in liquid the last 24 hours. Starting weight 9.14 this mornings weight 11.12. My little Sumo.

He is now starting to be weaned on the Oxygen levels and is peeing like a race horse. In the words of his Doctor he is doing really well. I joked with the doctor that great we can take him home in a week. She said how about two? I know she was kidding, but wow what a nice thing to hear.

On top of all this he had his first leakage through his stoma. This in the words of his nurse is a "Really Big Deal" so if some of you were waiting for more good news. Then Prayers ARE being answered. On top of this he had another Echo Cardiagram to confirm a kink in his aorta. This could be fixed but it would be another surgery. Well how about we just say it's GONE! There is NO kink; there is NOTHING wrong. Was it prayer or mistake? I don't know but I'll chalk it up to the prior. So thank you all for your prayer's and keep them coming, because each and everyday they ARE being answered!
